I was going through some of these sums with my daughter. I thought I will share here as well.

2. 5 > 2
3. 5 > 3
4. John bought his house and named it John's Palace. His two sons, Gary and James have painted the house several times. Gary has painted the house 7 times while James has painted the house 18 times. John then changed his house name to John's Haven. Since then, Gary has painted the house 10 times while James has yet to paint the house. Who has painted the house more? Answer: James. Changing the house name makes no difference to the number of time the house is painted.
